They are awesome. However, at 5 weeks (and 15 pounds ?!!!), your baby can more easily keep in a pocket or a ring sling, safety in a crib or abdomen into the stomach. A MT may be too loose to drive a newborn - not really in favor of the motion from one side to the head. You can load up about 30-35 kg, about 3 years.
